Trading Card Games (TCG) have become an important part of Planet JJs Geekery, and the more we learn about TCGs the more TCGs we find! We wish we could host each and every one of them, but we are running out of days of the week to host more events. So, we have decided to cheat a little and create two events TCG Day & TCG Thursday!!!
TCG Day
A day where people can book in and play TCGs all day long, maybe even discover a new TCG that someone else is playing. The aim of TCG Day is to be a very casual, relaxed event, where everyone can share their common joy of TCGs!
TCG Day will run monthly – generally/normally/where possible – on the last Saturday of the month the events calendar will have the correct day for the event each month! The event will run from 11:00 till 17:00 – you can attend the whole event, part of the event, or come and go during the event it’s very flexible – with an entrance fee of £6.00 per person. Spaces will be limited, booking will be essential!
We are also asking for people to volunteer to become a sort of unofficial Ambassador for their TCG, so if someone is interested in learning more or even playing that TCG they have someone to go too during the event.
TCG Thursday
TCG Thursday is very similar to TCG Day but will mainly focus on Disney Lorcana and One Piece (maybe a little Flesh & Blood too).
TCG Thursday will run monthly – generally/normally/where possible – on the second Thursday of the month, the events calendar will have the correct day for the event each month! The event will run from 18:00 till 21:00 – with an entrance fee of £6.00 per person. Spaces will be limited, booking will be essential!
