Welcome to Planet JJs Geekery – A place where we celebrate all things geeky, nerdy, and generally have good fun. We may be a small shop but we have a massive geeky soul with a huge fun heart!
Planet JJs started off a little idea a handful of years a ago, you know one of those conversations where someone would say “wouldn’t it be cool if…..” Then from that idea Planet JJs Cakery came about, a little home business that could offer geeky goodness to everyone, attending various farmers markets across the county.
But ideas have a habit of growing and when we were able to after the world reopened, Planet JJs Cakery became Planet JJs Board Game Cakery a place in Tonbridge where you could go to play board games while treating yourself to some of our lovely sweet treats!
And as a rolling stone gathers no moss, our business continued to evolve and change as directed by our regular customers and community. Planet JJs Board Game Cakery changed in to its Second Stage Evolution and became Planet JJs Geekery!!!
At Planet JJs Geekery you will find a dedicated environment for people to come and play Trading Card Games like Magic the Gathering and Pokémon, Role Playing Games like Dungeons & Dragons and Cyberpunk, Tabletop games like Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar!
Our goal at Planet JJs Geekery is to be a geek haven for everyone, a safe place where you can come, relax, have fun, share interests with like minded people and just have a good old fashioned good time. As well as being able to play in store we also have a ever growing retail section where you can buy the latest booster pack for Pokémon, attend the prerelease for the latest Magic the Gathering set, or even that special shade of yellow paint needed for your miniature – and the best bit is, if we don’t currently have it in stock we will try to get it in for you.
To complement our Geekery side Planet JJs continues to offer a Cakery element provided by ‘Jojo-Cakes Bakery‘. In store we have an unbelievable selection of home made sweet treats (cupcakes, tray bakes, cookies and other awesome yumminess), because we know that perfect addition to a gaming session is a plate of yummy, sweet treats. Go on treat yourself, you deserve it…
